Social Marketing Mummy

I took a break from blogging to focus on the demands of being very pregnant, and now looking after a baby but my social marketing radar was still active. During my pregnancy I became aware of the multiple health behaviours being marketed at mums-to-be “take folic acid every day” “drink less caffeine” “do more of this” “do less of this” and how this was being carried out. And now as a mother, and talking to other parents of babies and young children, how this has continued. I’m back to blogging now – baby’s naps permitting – and will be writing a series of posts exploring social marketing and parenthood.
